Rachel and Kristian's love story started in the most unexpected place, a gym front desk. What began as a simple connection turned into four years of adventure, leading to a stunning proposal at Neist Point in Scotland. That moment by the cliffs kicked off the next chapter of their journey together, starting with the most beautiful day at Harding Waterfront Estate.
If you're dreaming of a romantic wedding at Harding Waterfront Estate, theirs was such a sweet example of what makes this place so special. With views of Lake Ontario, wide open spaces, and the most peaceful vibe, it felt like the day was built just for them. It's easily one of my favourite lakefront wedding venues in Ontario.
About Harding Waterfront Estate
Harding Waterfront Estate sits right on the shores of Lake Ontario in Mississauga, and it's quietly become one of my favourite lakefront wedding venues in the GTA to photograph. What sets it apart is the combination of wide open lake views, manicured grounds, and a genuinely peaceful, unhurried feeling that's hard to find this close to the city.
The bridal suite has some of the best natural light I've worked with, big windows that flood the room during getting-ready, with a view over the lake that makes the whole morning feel calm rather than rushed. The grounds offer real variety for portraits too, open lawns for wide, breathing-room shots and a quiet walk down to the water for something more intimate.
It's a venue that works beautifully for couples who want elegance without stiffness. Whether you're planning a large celebration or something more intimate, Harding gives you the space and the light to make it feel exactly like you.
The Morning
The morning felt light and happy with mimosas, excited nerves, and the most gorgeous view from the bridal suite. Rachel and her girls got ready upstairs while Kristian and the guys hung out downstairs, sneaking in a quick game of cornhole before getting dressed.
The Ceremony
Their ceremony was full of emotion and joy. You could feel the love in the air as they exchanged vows. After some family photos, we took a quiet walk down to the lake for a few portraits. Those in-between moments were everything, calm, connected, and real. Some of my best wedding photos at Harding Waterfront Estate came from just slowing down and letting them be present.
The Reception
From their grand entrance to the fun Macedonian wedding traditions, the reception was such a celebration. There was dancing, bread breaking, and so many laughs. Rachel even won the big piece of bread, which was such a fun moment to capture.
