Who will be shooting our wedding?
Every Amare wedding is led and edited under Anika and Carson's creative direction, that's the constant regardless of date or package. For most weddings, one or both of us are there with you in person. When our calendar calls for it, we bring in a member of our trusted core team, photographers and videographers we've trained, shot alongside, and would trust with our own wedding day. You'll always know who your lead is before you sign.
Where are you based? Do you travel?
We're based in Burlington, Ontario and shoot weddings across all of Southern Ontario — Toronto, Niagara, Hamilton, Muskoka, Prince Edward County, and everywhere in between. For destination weddings, we travel worldwide with coverage starting at $6,500, all inclusive of travel. Tell us about your destination.
How do we receive our photos and films?
Your photos arrive through a private PicTime gallery, beautifully presented and fully downloadable for print, web, and social. Sneak peeks are delivered within one week so you can share the moment. Your full gallery follows within eight weeks, and your film is delivered via a private link within ten.
How much is the retainer to book?
A $2,000 retainer holds your date, with the remaining balance due two weeks before your wedding. We accept credit card and e-transfer.
Can we customize our package?
Every collection is a starting point, not a ceiling. The Storytellers Collection already bundles photo and video together beautifully, but if you want to add Super 8 film, 35mm, a second photographer or videographer, or anything else, it's all there for the taking. And if you'd like something built entirely around your day, we're happy to do that too. Just say hello and we'll put something together for you.
How do we book?
The easiest way to start is a discovery call — a relaxed 30-minute conversation where we get to know your day and make sure we're the right fit. From there we'll send over a custom proposal. Once you're happy with everything, you sign the contract and place your retainer. That's it, you're booked, your date is held, and we take it from there.ents!
